Phone Home” is a coming-of-age sci-fi story in which a young woman, Quincy, returns to her hometown after spending time  living with distant relatives abroad, only to discover that her hometown has inexplicably transformed into an alien world. Much of her environment retains a sense of familiarity, but, at the same time, everything has completely changed. She meets another girl, Zora, who has recently moved to the area and is feeling similarly displaced. They begin to spend long stretches of their time wandering the woods behind Quincy’s house together, getting lost. For a while, this seems like paradise, until things begin to take a strange and dark twist.
